About Poor Richard’s BBQ

Poor Richard’s BBQ was essentially started in a moment of panic. That moment came when I discovered that both of my daughter’s were planning to marry within six months of each other.
So my wife and I, along with my partner Kenn developed and executed separate menus for both events.
~Soon after, we were asked to cater my wife Peggy’s family reunion. We have done so for the past five years. This is what started us on the path to the best BBQ in Virginia.
~Each year the cooking techniques improved, and the service more refined. We have reached the point, where we feel we have a superior BBQ that is equal to none. Our BBQ, sauces and specialty rubs offer a unique flavor that is distinctly Poor Richard’s BBQ and we would love to share it with you.
